Risk Disclosure Statement
Trading foreign exchange, gold, and other financial instruments carries substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You may lose some or all of your invested capital.
1. About Cockatoo
Cockatoo is a software automation platform that executes trading signals from third-party signal providers into users' MetaTrader 5 (MT5) brokerage accounts. Cockatoo is a technology service — it is not a financial advisor, portfolio manager, investment manager, or licensed financial services provider of any kind.
2. No Financial Advice
Nothing on this platform, including signal provider content, performance data, analytics, AI assistant responses, or any other feature, constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to trade any financial instrument. All content is provided for informational and automation purposes only.
You should seek independent financial advice from a qualified financial advisor before engaging in any form of trading activity.
3. Trading Risks
You should be aware of the following risks before using Cockatoo:
- Market risk: Prices of financial instruments can move rapidly and unpredictably. You can lose money quickly.
- Leverage risk: Many brokers offer leveraged trading. Leverage amplifies both gains and losses. A small adverse price movement can result in the loss of your entire deposit.
- Signal provider risk: Signal providers are independent third parties. Cockatoo does not vet, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or profitability of any signal provider's signals. Past performance of any signal provider is not indicative of future results.
- Execution risk: Automated systems may experience connectivity interruptions, technical failures, or delays. There is no guarantee that every signal will be executed as intended.
- Slippage risk: Orders may be filled at prices different from the signal entry price due to market conditions and broker execution.
- Technology risk: Software, internet connections, and third-party services (including brokers and our connectivity infrastructure providers) may experience outages. Cockatoo cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.
4. Past Performance
Any performance statistics displayed on this platform represent historical data only. Past performance — whether of signal providers, automated strategies, or example accounts — is not a reliable indicator of future results. No representation is made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.
5. Your Responsibility
By using Cockatoo, you acknowledge and accept that:
- You are solely responsible for all trading decisions made through your account.
- You have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of your broker.
- You understand the risks of trading and are trading with funds you can afford to lose.
- Cockatoo acts only as a technology intermediary and bears no responsibility for trading outcomes.
6. Regulatory Notice
Cockatoo does not hold any financial services licence and is not regulated by any financial authority. Cockatoo is a software tool. The execution of trades takes place through your broker, which is a separate and independently regulated entity. You are subject to your broker's terms, conditions, and applicable laws in your jurisdiction.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your use of Cockatoo is lawful in your country of residence.

9. Children
Cockatoo is not directed at persons under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data to us, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
11. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of Singapore, including the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Users in the European Economic Area may also benefit from protections under the GDPR. We comply with applicable data protection laws in all jurisdictions in which we operate.
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Cockatoo ("Service"), operated by Cockatoo Inc. ("Cockatoo", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Please read these Terms carefully. Section 8 (Limitation of Liability) and our Risk Disclosure Statement are particularly important.
1. What Cockatoo Is
Cockatoo is a software automation platform that monitors third-party Telegram-based trading signal channels and automatically executes the signals into users' MT5 brokerage accounts via our proprietary cloud execution infrastructure.
Cockatoo is execution infrastructure only. It is not a financial advisor, investment manager, portfolio manager, broker, or regulated financial services provider. Cockatoo does not select, create, or endorse trading signals. Signals are provided by independent third-party providers who are not affiliated with Cockatoo.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
- You must be legally permitted to trade financial instruments in your jurisdiction.
- You must have a valid MT5 brokerage account with a licensed broker.
- The Service is not available to residents of jurisdictions where automated trading software is prohibited.
3. Account Terms
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of others without permission.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate and current information during registration.
- Notify us immediately at support@cockatoo.to if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
4. Subscription and Payment
- Cockatoo offers monthly subscription plans as described on our pricing page. Prices are in USD and subject to change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
- New Starter plan subscribers receive a 30-day free trial. No charge is made until day 31 of your subscription. Pro and Elite plans are billed immediately upon subscription.
- The minimum subscription period is one calendar month. Subscriptions automatically renew each month on your billing date and your payment method is charged automatically unless you cancel before that date.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.
- If you cancel during the free trial period, no charge is made. Once a billing period begins, that period's fee is non-refundable. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for unused days.
5. Chargebacks and Billing Disputes
Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer or bank, you must contact us directly at support@cockatoo.to and allow us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. We commit to responding to all billing disputes within 2 business days.
We take this position for the following reasons:
- Cockatoo offers a 30-day free trial on the Starter plan — you are never charged without prior notice and full access to the Service.
- The Service is delivered continuously and in real time. Once Cockatoo's S2E engine is active and executing signals, the service has been rendered and cannot be "returned."
- We maintain complete audit logs of all service activity, signal execution, and account access, which we submit in full to any payment dispute. Chargebacks filed without prior contact are almost always resolved in our favour.
- Chargebacks incur third-party processing fees regardless of outcome, which harms the platform and its users.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us constitutes a breach of these Terms and will result in immediate account suspension. We reserve the right to recover any chargeback fees or dispute costs incurred.
If you have a billing concern, we will always work with you to find a fair resolution. Just ask.
6. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings before your next billing date. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain full access and Cockatoo's S2E engine continues running until that date. Once the period ends, your S2E engine is deactivated and no further charges are made.
You may reactivate your subscription at any time. Your previous configuration (signal providers, risk settings) will be restored upon reactivation.
6. Plan Changes (Upgrades and Downgrades)
Upgrading to a higher tier takes effect immediately. You are charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing period at the new plan rate, and your next monthly charge is at the new plan price. Access to the upgraded tier's features is granted instantly.
Downgrading to a lower tier takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to your current tier until that date. From the next billing date, you are charged at the lower tier rate. If your active configuration exceeds the lower tier's limits (e.g., more signal providers than the lower tier allows), you will be prompted to adjust your configuration before the downgrade takes effect. Failure to adjust within 48 hours of the downgrade date will result in the excess providers being automatically deactivated — you can reactivate them if you upgrade again.
Plan changes can be made at any time from your account settings.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of your broker's terms of service
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or distribute any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Use the Service to manipulate markets or engage in any form of market abuse
- Provide false or misleading information to Cockatoo
- Share access to your account with other traders in exchange for payment
9. Third-Party Signal Providers
Signal providers whose channels Cockatoo monitors are independent third parties. Cockatoo makes no representation or warranty regarding the accuracy, quality, or profitability of their signals. You are solely responsible for your decision to follow any signal provider. Cockatoo does not vet, approve, or endorse the trading strategies of any signal provider.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Cockatoo shall not be liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or financial harm arising from use of the Service.
- Cockatoo shall not be liable for losses caused by execution failures, connectivity interruptions, delays, slippage, or broker-side issues.
- Cockatoo shall not be liable for the actions or signals of third-party signal providers.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to Cockatoo in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain liability exclusions. In such cases, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by applicable law.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cockatoo and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or trading activity conducted through your account.
12. Service Availability
We aim to provide a highly available service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, or events beyond our control. Cockatoo is not liable for any losses resulting from service interruptions.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we reasonably believe continued access poses a risk to the platform or other users. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@cockatoo.to.
14. Intellectual Property
All software, source code, algorithms, execution logic, trade management systems, configuration interfaces, analytics engines, and AI systems comprising the Cockatoo platform are the exclusive intellectual property of Cockatoo. All rights are reserved worldwide.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service solely for its intended purpose. You may not:
- Copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of any part of the platform
- Reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from any part of the platform
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our prior written consent
- Use any automated tools to scrape, harvest, or extract data from the platform
- Frame or mirror any part of the platform on any other website or service
15. Brand and Copyright Protection
The Cockatoo name, logo, mascot design, brand identity, product names, and marketing materials are protected under applicable trademark and copyright law. The following are prohibited without prior written consent from Cockatoo:
- Using the Cockatoo name, logo, or branding in any context that implies endorsement, affiliation, or partnership
- Creating competing products, services, or tools that incorporate, replicate, or are substantially similar to Cockatoo's execution methodology, feature set, or user experience
- Reproducing, publishing, or distributing any Cockatoo marketing content, copy, screenshots, or product documentation without permission
- Registering domain names, social media handles, or business names that are identical or confusingly similar to "Cockatoo" in the context of trading, financial technology, or software
Any unauthorised use of our intellectual property or brand may result in legal action including claims for injunctive relief and damages. To request permission for any use not covered above, contact legal@cockatoo.to.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt resolution in good faith by contacting legal@cockatoo.to.
18. Amendments
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Risk Disclosure Statement, and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cockatoo regarding your use of the Service.
